Carousel beta and Remix are here
v1.14
Carousel
Carousel is now available in beta
Use Carousel in the sidebar to create multi-card content that people swipe through, like an Instagram carousel.
Enter a topic and the assistant asks a few questions, then writes the whole set of cards. Choose to start from scratch to begin with an empty card.
Pick a design and edit each card
The design picker shows every card of each design so you can compare before choosing. You can change the color of the whole deck or of a single card.
Place text, shapes, and images on the canvas outside the cards and move them into a card when ready. Content clipping can be turned on or off per card.
One automatic deck per day during the beta
Creating a new deck with the assistant is limited to once a day (resets at midnight KST). Editing an existing deck with the assistant does not count toward this limit.
Remix
Start from a template in Remix
Pick a template in Remix and select Try it on canvas to get a canvas laid out like the example. Drop your own images into the empty slots and generate right away.
You can also load a template from the start screen of an empty canvas.
Templates now have likes and sharing
The template list and detail pages have been redesigned, and each template shows likes, a share link, and its author. Shared links open the right view whether or not the recipient is signed in.
Canvas
New generating state
Video and image nodes show a new animation in the media area while generating, and the result appears in the same place when it is ready.
YouTube and Instagram nodes now match other nodes
They follow the same preview, account, and input layout, with hashtag and character limits shown at the top of the input. Once posted, the node displays the result styled like a post on that service.
Regenerating an image keeps your quality setting
Fixed an issue where regenerating from an image node reset the selected quality to the default.
Composition
Caption styles and animated captions
Add caption styles made for Shorts and Reels from the Text tab, and switch them in the properties panel. Motion such as entrance and spoken-word highlight is also available.
Choose the background for empty areas
Under Background in the settings panel, choose black, white, a custom color, or blur.
Text boxes fit their text
New text boxes resize to fit their text, and while editing, text keeps the same position and line breaks as the final result.
Smoother playback
Playback and mouse movement no longer redraw the entire editor, so playback is smoother on lower-end devices. The result player now supports full-screen view.
Account
Sign in without leaving the page
Sign in and Get started buttons on public pages now open a sign-in window instead of a new page.
Nickname availability check at sign-up
Sign-up and nickname changes in settings now check whether a nickname is taken. Nicknames can use Korean, English letters, numbers, and a few symbols.
Notices for expired sessions and new versions
If you are signed out while working, a notice appears right away, and when a new version is released, a refresh notice appears at the top of the screen. Your last canvas edits are also saved when you leave the canvas.
Website
App home organized by service
Recent projects on the home screen are now grouped into Canvas, Composition, and Carousel rows, with a new row of links to Models, Remix, Pricing, Blog, and Newsroom.
Redesigned blog
The blog now has categories, author profiles, and popular posts, and signed-in users can leave comments.
